I know it’s tough, I’ve been there.
Reaching your goal doesn’t happen over night, there’s no magic pill or slimming wrap you can use that will give you life long results.
I will share with you a few secrets that you can start using immediately that will make you start feeling great and on the road to a slimmer YOU!
CONSUME PROTEIN ENRICHED FOODS AT EACH MEAL
For every one of your daily meals make sure you include foods that contain high quality proteins (poultry, eggs, protein powders, red meat, fish) if your goal is to increase your metabolism!
Proteins have the highest Thermogenesis Induced by the Diet among all the other nutrients (carbohydrates and fats).
Explanation: each nutrient (protein, carbohydrate and fat) needs energy to be digested by the gastrointestinal system and then absorbed into the bloodstream. The energy the body burns to digest and absorb the nutrients is named T.I.D.
PERFORM HIGH INTENSITY WEIGHT TRAINING
High intensity weight training translates into optimum fat loss for 2 main aspects:
High intensity increases the levels of “Epinephrine” and “Noradrenaline”. Epinephrine and Noradrenaline are hormones! These two hormones target specific receptors located on the fat cells that are responsible for fat loss!
High intensity weight training promotes the production of a high quantity of lactic acid. Research has shown that lactic acid increases the secretion of Growth Hormone (GH). Growth Hormone is also one of the most powerful fat loss agents!
So, increase your workout intensity to trim down your fat!
-45-minute treadmill walks.
-Minimal calorie-burning yoga, Pilates, etc. Come on, you can do better than that for the amount of time spent exuding effort.
Sad to say, but any of those abdominal-only classes like 30 minute abs etc!
-Any group exercise class that is more mentally fun than physically challenging.
Seriously, if you’re simply having fun and not busting your ass, then you are wasting your time if you’re in pursuit of a lean body.
IF YOUR DIET STINKS DO THIS
Cut back your total daily calorie intake. If you’re consuming 3,500 calories, reduce it to 3,000. Hey, it’s a start.
Eliminate processed food. I know it’s tough because that stuff is everywhere. Sorry to say, but this includes prepared microwavable and boxed foods, instant heat or boil packs, and other similar products.
Replace soda, energy drinks, and fruit drinks with plain water. Add some lemon or lime juice to give it some flavor if you hate plain water.
Take fresh vegetables and fruit to work as a between-meal snack. Celery sticks, carrot sticks, cauliflower, grapes, an apple, a peach, strawberries, or whatever you can put in a container or sealed bag.
If you’re a grain-carb fanatic, try whole-grain items.
THE HARDEST THING TO DO..
STOP EATING SO MUCH CRAP!!!
